1 <br />Making Every Day as the Earth Day <br /> As can be seen from the brief dialogue, the earth suffers a lot from man’s behavior at present. There are many <br />problems. For example, human beings are destroying too many trees, which leads to air pollution. Besides, polluted water is <br />sent into rivers directly without being dealt with. Further more, few people are aware of such problems while most of us take <br />them for granted. However, on the Earth Day, some measures are taken to care for the earth. Not only do people spread the <br />idea of protecting the earth, but also something will be done, such as dealing with rubbish, recycling used battery and so on. <br /> But that is far from enough. I strongly call on everyone to treat every day as the Earth Day and take care of the earth <br />every day. Why？Because when <br />money is spent, we can earn it back. However, when time is gone, it will never return. As students we must not relax our efforts to engage in our studies so as to serve <br />society and our nation in the future. <br />But it is a pity that there were a lot of people who do not know the importance of time. They spend their precious time <br />on smoking, drinking, chatting, and even gambling, taking drugs. They do not realize that wasting time is equal to wasting a <br />part of their valuable life. <br />In a word, we should form the good habit of saving time. Do not put off what can be done today until tomorrow. <br />Laziness will not only bring us failure but also lead us to the road of poverty. <br />3 <br />Which Is More Important, Health or Wealth <br />In modern society, more and more people have great pressure in their work. They have to work day and night. Some of <br />them suffer from too much work. Some are even killed by the overwork. <br />Which is more important, health or wealth? Some people think that wealth is more important than health. In their <br />opinion, money is everything. &ldquo; I would rather be the slave of money, some of them spend most of the time working, running <br />the rest of their lives for wealth. <br />As a matter of fact, health is more important than wealth because health is the foundation of wealth.
